december 2011 mix

Posted on Tuesday 27 December 2011

A great feeling of inferiority after being directed to Bobbylondon‘s Hamburger Eyes podcasts was part of what delayed a December Hearsay mix. The other part was the need to spend the few non-working hours I had with procrastinations that are even less productive than the time that I spend putting together mixes for this site.

There has been so little released this year that really caught me, it kinda follows that I would put together this collection of 19 temporally thematic songs. In fact, I’m not sure that I can put together a “best of” list this year in good confidence. We’ll see what comes out in the next few days, but I’m guessing that you’ll see a January mix before any best of 2011 posts. Enjoy this in the meanwhile.

No end of year picks? I will let you off the hook this year. I agree though about the lack of production in ’11. There are some hopefully great album slated for release in ’12 though. Happy New Year.
