Dirty On Purpose
Oof. In some horrible news for the morning, Dirty On Purpose announced that have decided to call it quits, though, at least in their sendoff:

We’re all still buddies and live in the same town, so we reserve the right to change our minds and get back together in six months if we feel like it.

they leave the possibility open that there may be a sequel like so many Hollywood blockbusters with holes in the endings. I take some solace in the fact that they each have side-projects that they are pursuing (drummer Doug Marvin’s Purse Snatchers made this month’s mix). Other side projects include the almost-Dirty On Purpose, neckbeard telecaster (Joe & Doug), Joe and The Flying Spoons (Joe), Black Acid (Doug), and Coin Under Tongue (George).

They will play their last show at Mercury Lounge in with A Place To Bury Strangers on New Year’s Eve. Tickets here.
