fyi… the band have about 16-18 songs that are “ready to go”, but they played short sets and wanted to play songs that people (may have) heard. besides the album and the above-listed “My Backwards Walk” and “The Twist”, they also have “Fast Blood”, “Soon Go”, “It’s Christmas So We’ll Stop”, “Poke”, “Keep Yourself Warm”, and a bunch more… the second album is going to be SWEET!

Yes, I was at the Northsix show. I must admit, I probably wouldn’t have gone if not for topo’s prodding. I had heard the two tracks posted on pitchfork and was ’so-so’. Yeah the boys are a little green yet, but they have some awesome songs. I picked up ’sing the greys’ and have been listening to it non-stop ever since. I’m sure the next time they visit NYC they will be playing fewer, bigger shows that will no doubt be sold out….and i’ll be there.

Thanks for these tracks! Looks like the FR boys are going to NYC instead of down the road to London! Hopefully they’ll be here sometime soon. And LA too!
