Hearsay 03: Darkness
The other mix that I did that people seemed to like was the 3rd one, which was supposedly the “favorite color” issue. I’ve told freed since the beginning that I don’t really like the homework of an assigned theme, so my little act of rebellion in hearsay 03 was to say that, well, i’ll make my ‘color’ darkness, and well, “I Love You, But I’ve Chosen Darkness,” so well, its a mix about the trials and tribulations of that subject. Soul music was my anchor (I am generally a soulaholic, but I usually hide my disease from others). “The Weather” is hands-down my favorite Built To Spill song, by the way. It just doesn’t get more romantic than waiting around doing nothing just to avoid having fun without someone.

Hey Freed, about time for another mix, no?
