theres this amazing band hour hands man that remind me of modest mouse alot not of the voice just the guitar riffs n shit but it like modest mouse with a new head man pretty much its an amazing piece of work the web site is http://www.myspace.com\hourhands infact i know the guys kinda iv been talking to the constantly on myspace for about 5 months but if your a modest mouse fan its a must checkout

thanks for posting these. i saw mouse down in anaheim on the last of their 4 nights in town and was really impressed, it was long, loose, improvisational, but tight enough and rocking in the right places. and brock was using his tongues. good stuff. and i’ve been seeing them regularly for a very long time. they played even a couple more new songs than the avalon and wiltern shows i’ve seen posted, and would love to see these come available. the naysayers abound, but to my mind brock is still one songwriting weirdo with *the touch*.

handsome wolffur boeckner played some ridiculous guitar on the sprawling dramamine closer the night i watched, and that was nice.
